INTRODUCTION & WELCOME

PLENARY SPEAKERS

The 6th Biennial Meeting of the Australasian Evolution Society will be hosted by Prof. Andrew Cockburn at The Australian National University in Canberra from September 29 - October 1. Registration fees are $190 (Regular) / $95 (Students) and includes a membership fee.

PROGRAM

We were overwhelmed by the response to our call for abstracts that resulted in 107 talk submissions. Rather than cutting talks we have decided to accommodate all requests for talks and as such will be running concurrent sessions. Please visit the Program page for important information and a draft program. In addition to our 4 plenary speakers (see right) the regular talks reflect the breadth of evolution research and has ensured an exciting program. To help you relax after the talks, we have 2 planned evening social activities and allowed 1 evening for you to experience Canberra's culinary delights.

ACCOMMODATION & TRAVEL

Please make your own arrangements. We have provided suggestions on where to stay and how to get to Canberra - follow the respective links above. Spring is a busy time for Canberra (e.g. Floriade 2009) so please make arrangements as soon as possible!
